NBA Interpretation: Ron Artest To The Lakers

So Far This Offseason Has Gotten Off To Quite A Start for The NBA. First There Was Shaquille O'Neal Going To The Cleveland Cavaliers. Now The Most Heated Match Up In The Postseason Between Kobe Bryant and Ron Artest, The Two Are Now Both Lakers. After The Lakers Lost Small Foward Trevor Ariza Who Signed A 5 Year Deal To The Houston Rockets, They Did A Hell of An Upgrade In Picking Up Ron Artest Who Brings ALOT more to the table than Ariza Had. Alot of People Shine on How Trevor Ariza Stepped Up And Was Knocking Down Shots And To Them I Ask If They Remember That Marvelous Year That Quentin Richardson Had For The Phoenix Suns. Granted Ariza Is Taller And Has Better Ball IQ on Defense but One Reason That They Seemed So Effective is Because They Were 3rd To 4th Options With OPEN Shots. Im Sorry If You are A NBA Player You Should Be Able To Knock Down OPEN 3 Pointers. Trevor Ariza Didnt Really Put The Ball On The Floor Aside From A Few Dunks, But Most of His Points Were Shots Dished To Him From Kobe, Gasol & Even Odom. Remember When "Q-Rich" Killed He Had Open 3's Because Steve Nash Ran The Point, Amare Stoudemire Was In The Paint, Shawn Marion was The 3rd Option After Both Amare & Joe Johnson, So Actually Q-Rich Was The Fourth Option And The Other Three Players Demanded Attention(Nash, Stoudemire & Johnson). Ariza Had The Same Set up Basically. Now For The Lakers They Came Off Big With Replacing Ariza With Ron Artest Because Artest is A Legitimate All Star. He Can Create His Own Shot, He Can Shoot Open 3's(So Should Any Basketball Player), He Can Crash Boards Setting Up Open Opportunities For Other Players. Now I Wouldnt Call It A Repeat Of The Bulls Dynasty, But More of Another Team That Phil Jackson Can Make Magic Happen With. The Lineup That The Lakers Have Is Great With Fisher, Bryant, Artest, Gasol & Bynum. Than They Have Odom, Brown, Walton and Farmer Coming off The Bench. Cant Wait Too See How This Team Will Gel Together In The Season, For Better of For Worst??
